TTC How to do

There are many versions of this floating around

Can I just tie back the Exhaust valve and the valve on the inlet ( top of engine)?

Will this do the conversion or do I have to remove and plug pipes as well?

Wanting to TTC mine to rule out any turbo problems before I fit the AVCR

I will leave it in TTC mode and use the controller to control the boost and hopefully

bring them on a little sooner

Many thanks

I think there's a ETTC but they's a lot of work. The quickest way is the link I posted, literally is 5min job.

If you want a hand I be happy to help, I also have pictures of my TTC pumped in, when I was using TTC to problem find on my Supra.

It is preference but handy to see if there is problems in the setup

Ok have carried out the TTC mod as above, an been out for a spin

Did 6 or so good pulls and the car does seem smoother and the boost is nice and progressive

However the car boosts to 1.2 bar the straight away drops to .8 bar and stays there is this right?

It really pulls hard to 1.2 then a little stutter and down to .8 bar

I don't know if this is correct holds at.8 though no problem.

is it really worth doing though? is it just a matter of personal preference..?

I only did it to problem find for my Supra.

Its only worth doing if you have support mods and a remap.

I didn't like it too much because the sounds from my stainless exhaust has was killing me lol, I was too loud.

But I guess if TTC is done properly it will and should feel like a small single.

Also I have noticed when I got back the top valve was closed when the engine idling

couldn't see the exhaust valve so not sure on that one.

I thought it kept the valves open?

We'll all sorted I think

After the ttc mod which shows everything is working

Turbo wise I have now put it back to normal and for some

reason it all works great

I can feel the 2nd turbo kick in and at.9 bar on full

chat and pulling great no smoke nothing

I am making a restrictor ring so exhaust will

Be fully swapped out this weekend I shall see

we are at then as will be full 3" system apart from

front pipe which will be 2 1/2" with a 2" restrictor ring

Any ideas what the boost should be with that done

Just so I can check hoping for at least 1 bar
