Hooper
Hi people, any help on this would be appreciated. Recently when I am full throttle down, at about 90mph upwards the car will splutter (doesnt make any weird noises or emit any smoke, just sort of feels like power halts for a split second) , goes faster, does it again, all the time until you ease of the throttle. Last night on the way back from Brighton it did it big time and the old warning light and engine management light came on for a second. Its just had a full service, I have changed the fuel filter, plugs etc. Where should I start looking (please dont say Autotrader!!) Cheers Craig
Gaz Walker
Sounds like Fuel Cut to me. How much boost you running & do you have a Fuel Cut Defender installed? (HKS, TRL, Greddy etc) Gaz.

Gaz Walker
OK dokey. Could be the huge exhaust thats causing it to go over the fuel cut threshold (15psi/1bar ish) You should get an FCD and get those cats out Gaz.
