Still waiting on Ignition parts, so gave the front Calipers a lick of Paint

Threw them back on, along with some aftermarket Pads, Discs, my Hel Hoses and some fresh AP Racing Brake Fluid.

Tomorrow is new wheel day! The guys at RareRims.co.uk gave me a good price on a set of Rota GTR / GTR-D wheels in White

Sticking with 18" so I can use my Tyres.

Wheels are fitted, well 3x of them anyway.

The fitting centre have caused me no end of grief after scratching the last wheel.

After being told it will be polished out, I was reasonably happy until they handed it to my Wife.

She sent me these pics...

Polished the scratches out so damn hard that they took the Paint off the edge of the spoke! Plus a little chip to make it worse!

I understand people make mistakes but to hand it over like that and deem it as acceptable infuriates me...

They offered to get it painted, but wanted another wheel to match the colour. I told them no, and i wanted it replacing.

Fortunately the guys at RareRims helped sort another Wheel at the expense of the Garage, but its going to be a few days away before she is back on all fours :(

Sorry to hear about the garage damaging the wheel but good news that they will cover it.

It's just that much longer to wait now until you get them all on the car.

It's one of those things I guess, i'm just impatient and dont appreciate being fobbed off! lol

Nearly there though...

Made another small purchase the other day with the guys at Tein UK.

Tein EDFC unit and Motors (Electronic Dampening Force Controller)

This will allow me to adjust the Damper settings from inside the car when on the Track :)

Took a ride out this morning to A-Line in Dudley to get her Suspension Geo set up,

image

Went for a bit more grip than the OEM specs

image

Drives much better now and doesent feel so nervous on the road.

Just need to look at the crappy idle problems, still fluctuating and stalling out when at idle, no issues when driving though unless i stop in traffic,

Plugs, Dizzy Cap, Rotor arm, Vacuum Hoses have all been changed. Cleaned the IAC Valve too. I can only put it down to the IAC valve being dead...

I can have it running, unplug the Valve and it doesn't seem to affect it at all....

Wheels look great with the black!

There's something about the look of ITBs that draws me in, wouldn't be any good if you sucked in some dirt though!

If the idling problem turns out to be a dodgy IAC valve I have one here I think, can do it for £25 Delivered. Although it has sat amongst a pile of other parts gathering dust so I wouldn't know if that could affect its working condition.

Good progress with the car.

Thanks bud. I was there for half 8, didn't take them long though.

Cheers dude, its a toss up between that and a Supercharger at the moment. When funds allow lol.

IAC, I am borrowing my mates as a test. If all goes well, I will give you a shout
