Righty,

I have been making plans and shopping lists etc as I slowy decide on where I'm going with this build.

Had a guy on the Driftworks Forum email me, he has a set of AE111 ITB's that i need to do this build.

That just leaves another set to find,

I know a few will be getting their pants in a twist at the lack of power lol.

These are from a AE111 Corolla 4AGE Black Top Engine.

As i'm going NA, there will be a big Head build as thats where the power is. Bigger Valves, Springs, Gas Flow work, Cam re-grind, Twin De-Cat and some decent headers should do it.

5 speed manual conversion is another must. Will need this in before the ITB's can be setup and mapped in.

The main Hoop is fitted, just need to drill and bolt down the rear Bars, then Weld in a Harness bar.

Interior looks great Richie, as does the rest of the car. You made the clean out look easy! I had a lovely 6 branch manifold on mine prior to the engine swap, sold it to a club member but I've no idea if he ever fitted it. I'll see if I can track his username down, might be worth an email.

Thanks man, really loving it at the moment, cant drive her yet, not until the Harness Bar is in.

Need to Weld these Brackets to the Cage and then it should be a step closer,

The shoulder straps should be kept as close to horizontal as possible from the back of the seats to the harness bar mate. If those brackets are for mounting the harness bar then keep them in line with the shoulder strap holes in the seats.

No worries, looking at the Harness Paperwork, it should be no more than a 25 degree angle on them from the seat to the mounting point.

I have the seat set fairly low which is pretty much there :)

Yeah, looking at the height of the seats in relation to the bend in the main roll bar, the harness bar wouldn't that low in comparison.

25° is still a bit steep but carry on if you're happy.

Have a look here for some fitting guidelines.

I got the info from what was supplied with the harness. Have heard that any more and it can do you some damage.

The seat has been lowered another 1-2" from that picture so it will be pretty much in line I think :)
