Samsar
As a suggestion for a 5 day Dragonball why not go for a jaunt to the Alpes? My brother goes mountain biking there every summer and skiing every winter and it takes him 8 hours from Calais to Les Deux-Alpes. He goes in his T5 Transporter and it costs him about £60 in tolls. Day 1 = motorway all day Days 2,3,4 driving some pretty scenic roads around the Alpes Day 5 = Homeward bound I must admit I don't go on the Dragonball's as it would be a bus mans holiday for me but some of the roads I drive on in the Alpes are pretty awesome. Guest Budz86
My thoughts echo the general consensus.....motorways are good for a bit of fun and you can clock up some good miles, plus it gives us the chance to bunch up a bit and get some good photos, races etc. A and B roads are also good for a bit of hooning so we need a good slice of them too! Plus, that seems to be the most scenic part and the reaction from locals in the small villages is cool! Food was spot on this year, as was the hotel. One thing I liked was the handy Shell garage next to the hotel! I know it was planned and the marathon didn't help but a photo shoot or 2 would be good, and maybe the odd fuel stop as I got low on Friday and ended up doing the last 40 miles on my own....in traffic! Lol. Watched a whole film in that time!

Lol. Watched a whole film in that time! If I could advise anyone, it is "fill up at the end of each day". My Saturday morning was cocked up by making a fuel stop with Steve M as we were all having a good laugh down the motorway. We never caught up and missed most of the vids and pictures. Learned my lesson after that. H.
