Help something in engine broke

Getting really sick of this car now. Gave it a few revs earlier and suddenly everything just started vibrating like mad with a blowing noise coming from engine. It gets worse when I take the oil cap off. Oil seems fine, crank pulleys fine, no hoses visibly damaged and checked all vac lines. It vibrates in neutral and when I drive but seems to be better in 4th and 5th but still makes the noise. I can't see any smoke coming out of the exhaust but it feels like damp air coming out of the tailpipe. It's worth mentioning that my 4month old crank pulley disintegrated 2 weeks ago and I replaced it with an aluminium one. I've checked it and it seems fine. As always, any help greatly appreciated.

Is the crank pulley tight ?

That's the first thing i would check seeing as you have changed it recently

Personally i wouldn't use an aluminium CP, do a search on here for the reasons why or read this

But would I not have problems with power? The power still feels the same

Not entirely sure, obviously if it pulls the same as before the damage is only minor at this stage. I wouldn't drive it until you know exactly what's wrong with it. I could be wrong but it does add up, the harmonic damper pulley is designed to balance the crank or something along those lines. Chris Wilson will be the best person to talk to.

Thanks for the advice mate. It's going in on Wednesday so hopefully just something minor. Fingers crossed

on your bottom end there is no minor fault that would be better... at this point it may be worth saying its maybe not the car to be cheesed of with more the things your doing to it? get an oem crank pulley on there and have someone who knows supras i.e lee perryman or paul .dude etc and see where you are...
