Steve
I know this has been done to death but just wanted some confirmation really. I am looking at fitting the following for a stock bodied Supra. 10.5 ET40 Rears with 295/30 R18 tyres. Or would a 35 profile fit? 9.0 ET27 Fronts with 245/35 R18 tyres. Or would a 40 profile fit? The rears will need a roll but its the fronts I am not sure on. Any input is much appreciated.
Jamesy
I used to run 9.5j fronts with a 25 offset so you should be fine mate
Dnk
I would go 275 or 285 on a 10.5" rear Edited May 20, 2014 by Dnk (see edit history)
Fitz
Was there a wheel size/offset calculator posted on here years ago? For some reason Homer springs to mind. Could be worth a sticky (if not one already)
mattdavies
willtheyfit.com but you have to know current specs of your wheels
David P
If they fit, 40 profiles would give better traction, ride and handling, but take a look at Homers transmission/diff/wheel/tyre speed chart before making your final decision.
Guest Standard
Hi Steve, Another post here about this subject recently. Great suggestions and some explanations. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?306210-Help-me-fix-my-profile-tyres&p=3854853&posted=1 Wheels and offsets still go over my head, so I feel your pain to some degree.
