Mk4Gaz
I've always hated bunches of keys, or even key rings. I normally keep my house key in my wallet, and my car/van key loose on it it's own in my pocket. I've just plasti dipped my dash trims, and was worried that my toad fob would rub against the ignition surround trim, and wear the finish away, making it look tatty pretty quickly. I like modern car keys, where the alarm/central locking fob is part of the key, just seems a neater solution. So I had a new key cut, and got to work in the garage! I had two fobs like this: An hour later, with a bit of fettling gave me this: Admittedly I've plasti dipped the fob, which I don't expect to last long, so if it wears away quickly, I'll two pack it in satin black. Only a little mod, but I'm much happier!

Al Massey
I tried that last year with my Clifford alarm fob and key. Turned out ok, but only lasted a few weeks and fell apart
