Guest momokie
Hi. Just wondering which car you think is faster and the biggest bang for the buck. I'm talking about the twin turbo supra by the way. I'm also referring to the older viper, the RT10 version. Which one do you think is more worth the money. Also, are vipers hard or expensive to maintain? Also, are vipers easy tp modify at all?http://dailydigitaldeals.info/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/11/33/buy.gif
ManwithSupra
Hi. Just wondering which car you think is faster and the biggest bang for the buck. I'm talking about the twin turbo supra by the way. I think you will find this club more biased towards the Supra... I'm also referring to the older viper, the RT10 version. Which one do you think is more worth the money I don't think many owners on this site have had the RT10 so would be hard to get a comparison Also, are vipers hard or expensive to maintain? Also, are vipers easy to modify at all? Probably best ask that on a Viper forum mate
Wez
As above, also not really comparable price wise, but this was fun back in the day http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?88845-Dodge-Viper
MattP
Supra for an all rounder but I would go for a Viper if you want a weekend blast car Im biased as I recently find myself wanting a fat lazy american car with a Road Presence to match........ supra_aero
Bit of a strange question. Totally different cars with totally different price s. Only thing in common is they are sports cars. Like comparing a Diablo to a lotus Elise.
Dnk
I drove a phase II GTS to Magny Cours for the F1 GP a few years ago, i'm pretty sure it would see off a stock mkiv tt, the only bad bit was non abs brakes, oh and burning the backs of your legs on the side skirts when wearing shorts
Nic
The Supra is by far the better handling, more comfortable, better built and all round better every day car to own. The Viper build quality is pretty ropey, the ride is poor and the handling scary, you basically cling onto the steering wheel and pray that the car stays pointing in the right direction, take your eyes off the road for a second and it will bite you, in fact the one I drove claimed the life of the new owner a few weeks after I'd been in it. The Viper would have the edge in straight line performance against a BPU Supra, as it has a lot more torque available early in the rev range. Up against a small single turbo Supra on normal roads though and the Supra would be the quicker car to drive.
Suprash
the only bad bit was non abs brakes Thats a bad thing I've just removed mine
Gaz6002
The Supra is by far the better handling Have to disagree there; the Viper handles brilliantly if you can drive it. Same as the 911 in that respect. They can bite you too though if you're an idiot. It's worth noting that EVERYONE in the world needs a V10. Kaan W
Always wanted a Viper, they've got alot more road presence than a Supra imo.

j_jza80
It's worth noting that EVERYONE in the world needs a V10. The Vipers V10 sounds pants next to the Lambo/Audi one, or the masterpiece in the LFA. Even the Ford modular one sounds nicer than the Vipers.

Suprash
On a road car in my opinion, yes it is a bad thing I find it just gets in the way when you are used to not having it and my daily will see the track dont worry about that, itching for my first practice day since last being out Aug last year
