Hi guys need ya expertise, I've had battery issues so decided to get new one from euro car parts

I went to fit onto my supra and just as I realised the posts was too small then noticed that the terminals was back to front also!!! So before I knew it the terminals had arked across the battery!!

So know I've got no power going into the car I found two fuses in engine bay blown which I've replaced but I seem to get no power on any permanent fuses in the kick panel have no ignition lights or even central locking and alsorts it seems that there's power in engine bay but nothing going into the fuse box in kick panel

Any help would be hugely appreciated thanks

Kev

Jesus christ, I'm sure someone far more useful than me will be along shortly to help you out.

Have you now fitted the battery in the correct manner? Using a volts meter is it reading anything at all?

When I read the title i thought it was another poor sod that just brought a NA :D

I've had the car 12 years loved it it was just one of those silly things and thinking that they gave me the right battery so didn't just check and just got on with it doh

I've fitted a battery now just to get me sorted but just can't believe it

Its the 120A fuse that's gone mate. You need to split the fusebox apart (3 nuts, one under the red flap marked +). You can then unbolt it from underneath to replace it.

You can visually check it. It's a huge white one with a clear cover over it with 120A embossed on it. If you look inside, it'll be blown. Takes a bit of fettling to get it out, so take your time. It's straight forward enough :)

It all depends on your luck mate. I did it many moons ago and all that was wrong was the 120A fuse. When that goes... nothing at all works.

If you are unlucky, the ignitor may be cooked. Other than that, everything should be fine.
