Scott
Thinking about it, surely this is the best way to illustrate how our learned friend is totally wrong about the effects ducting has on an intercooler... Not asking for much are you.
Whitesupra95
Why add a "lol"? What's funny about it? Did you actually "Laugh Out Loud" when you wrote that? You're a who thinks that they know better. Enjoy your sub-optimal car. It'll be well fast innit. Because unlike u i don't like to come across as an arrogant who has nothing better to do but sit and write about people and try and be a smart comedian instead of being purely technical in a technical thread. IMO u like the attention you get from the rest of the non technically minded people on here and have a laugh but at the same time your just repeating what other people say. I'm a newb that has built and mapped my own drift car running 380bhp, bought a non running manual supra that has sat for 14months as nobody that looked at it had a clue and got it running in 3days, completed a 1jz conversion into an sbody, yb into mk1 escort, just built and mapped a friends drift car just to name a few, mapped subarus, evos, sbody's and plenty more. But yes I'm a newb you The supra is quite fast, running 386bhp/374lbft at 0.9-1bar Edited May 20, 2014 by Gaz6002 OP can't communicate without swearing. Gaz6002
Right then Mr Whitesupra95!... I've edited your previous post because as well as making you look quite ridiculous it also contained swearing, which is frowned upon here. Please do us two favours: quit the swearing, and try to play nice. There's a huge amount of knowledge on this forum including some from people working at the highest levels of the car industry. Even those people don't have a monopoly on good ideas, but you have to assume most things you're going to try have been tried and tested already. That's the value of having such a rich and varied owners' club.

There is plenty of helpful information on this site I agree. Don't understand why you snipped the last bit out though?

Whitesupra95
That bit has been edited too. Because you're not paying trader membership I don't charge for my help (unless donated), I work as inspector now for an oil company but still work on cars as a hobbie and like I said I hate rip off garages. Going to look at a jzx tonight in fact Edited May 20, 2014 by Whitesupra95 (see edit history)

johnny g
I simply said I was no newb compared to most supra owners No, most "newb"'s will ask for advice and learn from members on here who've been there, done it and got the T-Shirt. Whereas you, well, you come across like a bit of a tit.

gordy.r
So.... After starting this topic, I'm now scared to ask my next question as to whether or not I should replace my twin turbos for a flux capacitor ...
Kirk
Of course! With a flux capacitor you can go backwards in time.

Scott
Have you got intake temps for your teeth before and after you had ducted lips? Kind of.... I now have to use Sensodyne toothpaste to help with the pain of dealing with cooler intake temps.

See the test is flawed, as results are all dependant on the condition of your 20+ year old stock teeth. New CW teeth with ducting would prob be good enough upto 650 bhp, after that you would be back to having to use the sensodyne. But for bpu, you should be fine. In fairness, I've only required the sensodyne since the aforementioned ducting upgrade. To be honest though, I'm fairly sure my mate has better results than me, his teeth are mounted outside of his mouth...
