Fizzy T
Alright guys I tried a few searches on here but no luck... Just wondered what size and type of bolts people would use to fit an aftermarket cat back exhaust system? I have some stainless steel ones just want to double check I have the right size, I think I need something like M10 x 1.5 nuts and bolts. Also I'm gathering mild steel would be better for the heat? chrispot
I would use the stainless nuts and bolts, never had a problem with heat as the exhaust does not get hot enough to cause any problems, also i would put a bit of copper slip on the threads as stainless steel can gall (the threads jamming against each other) when removing at a later date. size wise m10x 1.5 is fine. regards chris.
