Crash Bandicoot
Hi all, mates just recieved his turbokit from America. He will be on the forum shortly. He's got a stock na setup... The downpipe has 3 ports with threads for lambda sensors. On my na-t kit the downpipe has the same ports but the bottom is blanked. Can you use the oem oxygen/lambda sensors? Do we blank the bottom on his downpipe?

Chris88
It would depend on what kind of engine management you plan to use, however it's always better (AFAIK anyway) to use a wideband sensor.
mellonman
exactly that depends on what ecu your going with ,

Chris88
What's the options? Basic choice is either piggy-back (where you keep the existing ECU) or stand-alone (which completely replaces the existing ECU). After that there are lots of options both ways. Cheapest option is piggy-back (especially if you have an auto gearbox).
Noz
Can you explain better what the ports are. I only had 1 lamda sensor port and I have a bung for the wide band sensor as well. No idea why there is talk of changing ECU's just for this. I run OEM ECU with Piggy back and any other setup can use the standard OEM sensor port. Get some photos I think. scott87
My downpipe has 3 ports. 2 are blanked off and one has a lambda sensor in. I have deleted one of the lambda sensors as running a piggyback and am not running a wideband.
