Scott
SG1 is THE best TV show ever Followed by SGA and SGU is up there somewhere lol Seen SG1 like a million times each, and SGA not far behind. So gutted they all ended and didn't finish off properly I really enjoyed SGA but nowhere near as much as SG1. SGU did absolutely nothing for me, I was so bored after a few episodes that I completely gave up on it. It's really funny when you finish watching the end of SG-1 then start season 1 again, O'Neill was half the man he is now
supra_ufo
SG1 was brilliant, loved mcguver bloke whatever he is called.

It wasn't a patch on SGA or SG1 but I was disappointed it ended so early. I always watch the repeats of SG1 and SGA lol SG1 was brilliant, loved mcguver bloke whatever he is called. That was hilarious
Kendo11
While we're discussing Stargate, what's everyone's thoughts on the original film? A little dated now but I still absolutely love it. Proper entertaining Sunday evening type film. And yet another that has unfortunately been earmarked for the remake treatment

Proper entertaining Sunday evening type film. And yet another that has unfortunately been earmarked for the remake treatment I really enjoyed it, I remember it being really hyped up and then slammed by critics, but I genuinely don't believe that critics have their finger on the pulse. For me they tend to be far too pretentious. Like yourself I just enjoy the entertainment factor of it, much as I do with SG1.
j_jza80
I thought it was a good film, I think it will be destined to be something of a cult classic. Kurt Russell seems to have dropped off the face of the planet now, he was in some great films. Big trouble in little China was brilliant, as was Escape from New York. That was hilarious Ha ha mine too, Window of opportunity, quality episode for SG1 O'Neill is just amazing. Tao of Rodney for SGA, where he starts to ascend and has powers lol And yet another that has unfortunately been earmarked for the remake treatment Not just one, apparently it will be 3 films, and not a remake, but a revision. Abz
Just wanted The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Seen it before but it was on telly so stayed up late to watch it. Great film, heard the book is better but the film was good enough. Worth a watch.

Scott
As in tonight or last night? As in I watched it last night I'm going through them all on Netflix. Didn't realise I was so far through it. I must be watching 5 episodes a day - - - Updated - - - Just wanted The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Seen it before but it was on telly so stayed up late to watch it. Great film, heard the book is better but the film was good enough. Worth a watch. I still can't bring myself to watch that. I've tried 3 or 4 times now and Daniel Craig just really puts me off, he can't act worth a damn IMO.

Spunkmeyer
Watched Black Sea. Not bad, not great but watchable. Jude laws accent is hilarious though
Kendo11
It's absolutely incredible, Daniel Craig is a decent actor too imo. Prefer it to the original funnily enough. Maybe it's because my thoughts on Noomi Rapace are corrupted by Prometheus.
Spunkmeyer
Yep like Daniel Craig - Layer Cake !! Everyone's seen this haven't they? Must have!!! Anyway - I think it was just odd to release so soon after the trilogy.. Was too fresh in my mind and couldn't help but compare them.
Scott
He's decent in Layer Cake and he's reasonable as Bond. Other than that I think he's as wooden/cardboard as they come. He only has one emotion, serious face..... that's it really. He looks bored ALL the time for me and doesn't convey emotion at all..... traits very well suited to layer cake and bond. He's no Sean Connery though.

He isn't brilliant I give you that and this wasn't his best acting film but the film itself it is pretty good. Worth ignoring him anyway, his only one of the main characters. Kendo11
Just watched The Maze Runner. For a 'young adult' book turned movie that they seem to keep churning out, I thought it was brilliant. A very solid 8/10.

A very solid 8/10. Yeah wasn't too bad that like you say. Watched Abe Lincoln Vampire Killer - also better made that I thought, good story. Watched Backcountry - holey moley. I watched through my fingers..... Based on a true story, which is plausible. Not a long film so worth a watch
Scott
Deja Vu is on BBC1 right now. Started at 11.10 but it's a good film for anyone that hasn't seen it

Oddly enough I've just this second finished watching The Equaliser. Pretty decent, if a little simple. But it was a very formulaic, and I can't help thinking that Denzel is one of the most talented actors of his generation, and it would be good to see him in a more serious and intelligent role again like he used to. supra_ufo
Watched Hansel & Gretel, entertaining to watch but then realised how hot Gemma arterton was in prince of Persia so watched that too. http://www.imdb.com/media/rm352092672/tt0473075?ref_=ttmi_mi_all_sf_15#
