Spunkmeyer
I thought the scene with the 4 shermans against the 1 tiger really got all that across well. I was literally sat on the edge of my seat. Yeah agree that was really gripping and a stark reality check for me sat comfy on my sofa. I was imagining all the way through how many soldiers were not soldiers but just normal folk in the wrong place at the wrong time - the draft. I would be petrified (in a manly way of course) but like where Brad forces the young kid to take one of the German soldiers out. I expect that happened all the time
Spunkmeyer
Watched Trance last night. Had been avoiding it as it had not very good reviews same as Filth. But wasn't too bad, very manic direction from Danny Boyle. Quite a good ending, basically the film is twisted around the entire way through but came together well at the end. The psychology of total war is something totally alien to most of us in this day and age.

jamesmark
Dear makers of CHAPPiE I am writing to you to request the time I wasted watching your film, it is 2 hours of my life I would like back. Your film was so truly awful I am not prepared to accept partial refunds. Regards Pissed off customer
Scott
I must say, I thought it looked interesting but to childish to enjoy as an adult. Will give it a miss now lol.

The part with CHAPPiE were actually mildly entertaining to be fair, but no where near good enough to have a slim chance of saving the film. Weaver and Jackman should hang their heads in shame doing a movie like this. Should have known to be honest as same director as district 9 and Elysium (sp) both of them were awful. Will be ok for download, if you have nothing else to do like, I dunno, remove your toenails with a tooth pick

Abz
district 9 was awesome, FOOKING PRAWNS! brilliant lol I loved District 9! Watched Side Effects last night with the missus. Sort of goes in line with the film Gone Girl but no where near as good. Some good twists but the acting I didn't think was great. 3/10 - Worth watching if you are bored. If it's not as good as gone girl then it must be truly awful. I didn't rate the film at all. Same with district 9. In fact, it's taken this long to find someone with the same opinion as me on D9. I would watch starship troopers over it.

That showed the route Jackman chose when outside of X-Men. Chappie doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

You see I actually liked Real Steel. Not a movie I would rush to see but not a total waste of time. He was actually very good in Prisoners, that was a great film. It was disturbing, I said to my wife if she did that to me and came back home... I would have pegged it another country, don't think I was expecting that in the film, I just thought it was gonna be utter drivel. I just loved D9 because of the comedy side of it
jamesmark
Watched The Conjuring, must say I love the sofa pillows even more and had to go to bed turning the lights on and off as I went through the house. Great film and horror movies are not my fav genre (big pansy).

Scott
Not much movie watching recently? I got bored of the Lone Ranger with JD. I've been watching House and Stargate SG-1 recently lol. Not picked up a film for ages tbh. Looking forward to Focus, that's about all that's on my radar at the moment Lone Ranger was awful IMO. Kendo11
I watched Godzilla and Edge of Tomorrow again on the weekend but I've already watched both and commented on here. Got predestination lined up for when I have a free bit of time but God knows when!
Al Massey
I've been watching Stargate SG-1 recently lol. SG1 is THE best TV show ever Followed by SGA and SGU is up there somewhere lol Seen SG1 like a million times each, and SGA not far behind. So gutted they all ended and didn't finish off properly
