That's the whole point of a time travel flick based on a paradox. It's a paradox :D

******SPOILERS******

He wanted to live, he didn't want to die. He convinced himself that he wouldn't become that man, but he was already on the way of becoming him. As soon as we saw the end game we knew that it was inevitable what was going to happen, regardless of his wish to stop himself.

I'm currently watching House for the 3rd time around. I just absolutely love this show so much, it's one of those shows that you can watch again too. I'm currently on season 7, 8 total, and I've found myself slowing down with the amount of episodes I'm watching due to not wanting it to end. Seriously people, if you like a clever show then you cannot miss this one, it's just brilliant.

Finally got round to watching Gone Girl, as the Mrs wanted to read the book first.

Excellent cast, excellent direction by Fincher as always.

It all ended a little too abruptly though, and no psychopath or sociopath is that clever. It was all just too perfect. Still a good watch though.

Watched Focus with Will Smith last night.

All I can say is wow, what a film.

Very good film, the tense drama and comedy was unbelievable.

So many twists and turns.

Definitely getting this on bluray when it comes out.

Looking forward to this one, quite enjoyed the trailer and I'm a big Will Smith fan.

Just watched Fury, absolutely fantastic film. Brutal but brilliant.

Just?

I took my Dad to the cinema to see this, my grandad was a Sherman Tank commander during the war.

We both absolutely loved this film, and it made our memories of my grandads stories come to life.

Very emotional but amazing

Yes mate, I had planned on seeing it at the cinema but missed it.

Agree very emotional but brilliant film.

Funnily enough I remembered you mentioning it was a subject close to your heart while I was watching it.

The sight of the German Tigers and must have been absolutely terrifying.

Interesting fact about Tiger tanks during the war.

According to records of British and American Tank crews.

More tiger tanks were destroyed then were ever built.

The reason was, when a tank cam across a Tiger, the crew would sh*t them selves and Fire off a round while reversing away.

If the Tiger didn't return fire, it was classed as a kill.

Said tiger tank would of been "killed" several times.

Wow, that's crazy.

So they would literally fire at it just get the hell away from it?

Yeah, in the field it's called RTR.

React to enemy fire, take cover, return appropriate fire.

In a tank, you get try to get either the first round off, or take a shot so you can get in a better position.

Hence why they use smoke a lot.

Puts up a screen to blind them so they can get into better positions.

And it was very rare for anyone to go up against a tiger.

They were deadly.

Most Tigers were actually just left abounded because of reliability issues and not battle damage.

I thought the scene with the 4 shermans against the 1 tiger really got all that across well. I was literally sat on the edge of my seat.

That scene, is near identical to the many stories I heard from my grandad and other Sherman veterans.

That film was unbelievable, my dad and I loved every minute of it
