Kendo11
Massively recommend this article, brilliant read for film lovers. A few spoilers but I'd have thought most of these have been seen;

Spunkmeyer
Sorry say I thought Mind Hunters was garbage. Hope there was confusion with Headhunters which is very good, but mind hunters ... Awful. Only good thing is Christian Slater is not in it very long which was a relief.

It got put back and put back and eventually panned, I can understand why people wouldn't like it.... especially given that most of the ideas in the film were covered in other films during the delays...... but when I saw the film, it was fairly unique
Spunkmeyer
Same film - FBI profilers? except it takes them 90% of the film before they started to profile and stop running around like high school kids waving their arms screaming. I suppose the link to each of their predictable behaviours was good and that they'd all be profiled along time ago was good. Good idea poor direction
Spunkmeyer
Quite similar but much better was Identity with John Cusack - Did you see that?

For the most part they all thought they had who it was (Kilmer) so didn't feel the need to profile. They had the who and the why, they were just wrong lol. Nemesis
Caught up with a couple of blu ray recent releases.. Robocop, which I enjoyed more than I expected, being a fan of the original. Good cast and decent plot, not as bonkers as the original but that would be hard. And The Lone Ranger.. not at all what I expected. It was dark and full of pathos, I heard that it bombed in the US and I can see why. Americans rarely like a mirror held up for their behaviour towards the native Americans. Amazing Spiderman 2 later. Liked the first one, so usual sequel expectations for this one, hope it's good.

Scott
My little girl LOVES Spiderman, and all superhero movies to be honest, so I can't help but enjoy all those movies with her. That said, I thought the second one tried to do a little TOO much.
Nemesis
Yup, messy and with a big portion of cheese.
Kendo11
Not seen it yet, couldn't make it to the end of the first one to be honest. Am I alone in getting fed up of reboots recently?

I don't mind reboots, what get's me is that they all follow the same high-school formula. It's getting tiresome watching Twilight with a different costume every time a "new" movie comes out. Scott
Kiss the Girls tonight. I've never watched it before. Must say, Ashley Judd was really something back in
Scott
Kiss the girls wasn't bad. Typical 90s thriller and reasonably entertaining. I much preferred along came a spider though, thought that was a better movie overall (sister flick).
jamesmark
Watched Sex Tape yesterday, had some funny moments........'some' being the word. It is nothing more than a time filler if you have nothing else to watch. I can't help but think that Cameron Diaz is quickly (if not already there) turning into someone you would say 'Body of bay watch, face of crime watch', she is looking rough in her old age, and wonder how much of that films budget was used up by the airbrush dept

I'm expecting exactly what you described. Exactly the same with Cameron, too much work done on her coupon now.

Scott
Bored tonight so went channel hopping, TV was terrible but rather than stick something on I would like but wouldn't watch.... I clicked on "End of Days" to humour me in the background. It's a fairly good idea with a really poor execution, it looks like a multi Oscar winner compared to Sudden Death though... which is on now. Kendo11
Crazy fool, Sudden Death is ace! Potentially right up there with Timecop. I've just this second finished watching All Is Lost which I've wanted to watch for a while. Robert Redford is the only person in the entire film, and it only had a few words of dialogue barring a small note at the start. It was absolutely fantastic, possibly the best film I've seen so far this year, it probably shouldn't have been as good as it was, the sum of its parts and the premise don't add up to a lot but Redford is brilliant. Highly recommended.
Scott
I gave that one a miss due to the sum of its parts, I might just give it a watch now. Cheers
Kendo11
Can't recommend it enough mate, still blown away by it now. The Game is one of the films on TV tonight, watched it once and I was left infuriated by it. Might give it another go.

Kendo11
Yep. Lack of plausibility did it for me, which is saying something consisting most films. Falling Down is my favourite film of his.
