Suprakeith
As title says I have a ticking noise from behind the dash, the ticking gets faster and slower depending on revs so am thinking I may have a faulty or lose relay. Or could it be something else? if is relay does anyone know the part number or which relay it could be as car electrics are my weakness, the noise is not very loud but loud enough to annoy me, have checked engine just to be safe and all vac hoses and connections seem fine plus engine runs perfect and sounds normal so dout problem is with engine, Any ideas, suggestions or help would be much appreciated
KamaSupra
Could be a bomb? Tick, tick.... BOOM!!
Rummy
Does it happen only while moving or when stationary or both? Could be something to do with the A/C or heater. Try disconnecting your battery and reconnecting. It should 'reset' itself Edited May 3, 2014 by Rummy (see edit history)
Abz
Could be a bomb? Tick, tick.... BOOM!! Talking of which, didn't you recently have NOS fitted? Have checked everything is good & not loose?
Suprakeith
It happens while stationary and moving and will try doing reset idea. And yea had nos fitted but the only dash panels that were removed were both glove boxes and the middle section where head unit and heater controls are, and everything was fine and good when refitted it as only removed the dash panel to drill the switch holes. Also the noise tends to be louder when the car is cold
