tomsupra1
Hi, When I accelerate or corner fast/hard then the red warning triangle's light up on the dash, as if I have put the handbrake up. Is there a sensor for the handbrake that can be adjusted? Also, on some occasions the interior light comes on as well, meaning the door might be trying to open? Any help appreciated. Regards, Tom. Josh42
Check your brake fluid level. Sounds to me that is your problem with the warning lights. No idea on the interior light though

np89
Nothing to do with your brake fluid on this occassion. Happened to me last year, adjust the door close indicator on the inside of the door so it definitely pushed the door close switch all the way in when the door closes. You'll find it has probably moved a bit

Havard
You need to top up your brake fluid This (not sure if it has been mentioned.) The door contact is another good theory though, happened to my old NA iirc.
Scott
I had an issue with the door switch a few years back too, would sometimes take a few goes of closing the door to get the switch to notice. I'm fairly certain that the 2 issues are unrelated though, as I don't remember the exclamation light coming on for it. IMO clutch fluid definitely needs topped up. That'll do away with the light coming on during braking and accelerating. Giving the switch a wee adjustment should do away with the 2nd issue. supra_ufo
When i went above 100 leptons my car did the same on cornering too, it sounds like the door sensor catch as some have mentioned. I sourced one from Keron and the problem seems to have gone.
martincoupe
I'm pretty new but I'm sure there is something about brake fluid
Suprash
I was always aware of the brake fluid level, but over the last few days Emma has been getting this indicator in hers, I immediately said "I know why" and went straight to her brake fluid, except the fluid level was fine, so glad there seems to be another common problem, the door switch, thanks
