teddan
Hi I need to change my UK spec to J-spec brakes in the rear due to my smaller rims. I have j-spec calipers and disc. Is it bolt on? The disc seems to be different for the centrum bult?

Westy
J specs are essential on the rear for 15" drag set ups...most big power Supras run this setup with small rear brakes so doubt it's much of an issue.

Al Massey
Aye for a paperweight... And for brakes. My car still stops perfectly fine and that's Jspec all round and I'm pretty sure many many other cars stop perfectly fine using Jspecs. And all he's doing is changing his rears. Well if they were no good, A) Toyota wouldn't out them on the car B) it wouldn't pass an MOT C) every car would crash
garethr
There's a Top Gear video on Youtube in which a GS300 (J-spec fronts) comfortably outbrakes a contemporary 911 from 70mph. It might be different on a track, but for road use, there's nothing wrong with J-spec brakes and decent pads (except the sliders ).
ccssupra
Jspec's might be good, but UK's are amazing
