Ric
No updates for a while here, forgot to add a few pics from Japfest! I managed to find a set of brand new OEM toyota black foot mats for a steal of a price (still on the hangers) not sure ill actually fit these or just keep them in the loft! I picked up some carbon sill trims from Gary on facebook, these look great and fit really well. This pic shows how the carbon skirts and the sill trims work (they don't fit like this, i'd put the drivers side on the passenger side like a dope.) Couple from Japfest and on the way Best club stand, woop Edited April 12, 2021 by Ric (see edit history)
Andrew K
Saw your car on the japfest stand and it was looking very nice mate I've been after a set of the same OEM toyota black foot mats that you've managed to find, can I ask where you found them from and if you know if there's anymore? Ric
Hi Guys, It's been a while so i thought i'd put a small update on here regarding things done to the car! Since the post with the number plate surrounds on here i decided i wanted to try the Carbon surrounds but with the small extra piece in the middle which i've not seen before in the UK. Just held in place here I cut down the numberplate so you can see some more of the center piece however ill be buying a more suitable sized plate soon I also received some carbon fiber wing tops but i've yet to fit them. visited Japshow finale with supra_ufo to give the car a little run. After visiting the shows and having to wipe down with quick detailer i was starting to see marring on the paintwork so decided to give her a little spruce up. Then i went out to take some upto date pictures and hopefully get some calendar entries. Ric
Not much in the way of updates here, just some parts arriving for when im next working on the car: The carbon and neochrome fetish continues: The auto surround for now. But maybe other plans eventually. Thanks to Big Mark on here who's sold me his freshly blasted intake and turbo pipes, these should help me tidy up my engine bay a little too! Pile of work is stacking up again! And as we are expecting my first child i decided to buy the first kids book! jim
Haven't seen a carbon gear surround before, is that a Whifbitz product? Congrats on the bump bud

Congrats on the bump bud Didn't see this comment Jim, yeah it's a whifbitz product, it fits nice too, cheers also! Managed to fit a few bits in-between looking after the little one. I wasn't happy with my black carpet. I had re-dyed it from a few posts back last year and i think i used the wrong type of dye as it was constantly coming off whenever you touched the carpet so i decided to try and just get hold of a OEM black one. Thanks to Keron for giving me a call once he got one in stock popular product though as it took nearly 6 months! Looking brand new after a quick wet vac, very happy with it. I managed to fit my whifbitz Neochrome rad pipe also. First time I've tried siphoning any fluid, glad to say it worked and i didn't get any in my gob! Fits well with the carbon and neochrome theme im going for, just need to sort the turbo pipes etc out. I also fitted the carbon gear lever surround from whifbitz along with a new OEM leather gear knob I cannot explain how much of a pain this is, trying to get the OD button surround off the old knob without damaging it. But it looks much better after. Also put in my carbon skinned ashtray from Steveo on here. Just the handbrake lever to do next. Thanks for looking Edited April 12, 2021 by Ric (see edit history)

Ric
Slowly getting the car ready for Wroxhall this weekend, looking forward to it. Supra passed the MOT on Saturday without issue, becoming a reassuring feature of the car which I'm most happy about Car has now got into my local detailers this morning to have a Ceramic coating applied and special ceramic coating applied to the wheels insides and out (I've tried once before to apply this stuff myself and failed miserably) Will update with pictures as the detailer sends! See you all at the weekend!
Burna
I cannot explain how much of a pain this is, trying to get the OD button surround off the old knob without damaging it. Just a tip in case you have to do this again, if you pop the pins out of the plug so you are just left with the wires, it should ease a lot of the pain mate See you at the weekend Ric
Ric
Just got the pics from the detailer. I only originally sent in the car to have the wheels ceramic coated and the front carbon lip covered in their self healing film as the paintwork is great. But im glad in the end i went for the full job + ceramic coating allover the car, it looks even more fabulous! and should last for years Applying the film and wheels off detail.
