Style
After many years of being an NA-T lurker around these parts and trying to learn the ins and outs, I've finally bit the bullet and started piecing a build of my own together. I've tried to prepare the car in other areas first before starting the build with UK brakes all round and a Chris Wilson uprated 6spd clutch to handle the power of a small single setup. Having a facelift SZ-R meant I also had the V161 so no need to worry there. Hopefully this kit will see me to 400hp or there abouts to begin with. Future plans include TT pistons, bigger injectors, uprated fuel system, rad & twin fan upgrade, oil and P/S coolers, FFIM etc etc. Will slowly up the boost over time as I will no doubt crave more and more Don't have any pics of the build as I'm offshore but I know this forum likes pics so here is the car that will undergo all this work: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=184345&stc=1&d=1398536963 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=184343&stc=1&d=1398536963 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=184346&stc=1&d=1398536963 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=184344&stc=1&d=1398536963 Edited June 15, 2020 by Style Title Change (see edit history)

Cheers dude, progress will be slow to begin with but once I'm home the parts should at least be there waiting for me Looking good mate! Who is going to build it? Thanks Jesse, sending the car back to Checkpoint in Arbroath for the build. Certainly knows his Supras and has a good mapper to get the car running. I'll need a fellow NA-T'er up north so get on it! Bout time Steve :p can't wait to watch this getting built Haha good year or so late but hey ho Hopefully won't miss too many summer events with the bad timing! Style
Anyone know the diameter of the N/A inlet? Looks like most guys run a reducer from 3" down to whatever the inlet is. Had a quick look but can't find the number
Style
Well I got back from offshore work today and was keen to see what was waiting for me! AEM AFR Gauge GReddy Type RZ BOV 440cc MKIII Injectors with resistors from Fly, thanks again buddy AEM EMS V2 Standalone ECU. Hoping to have some fun with the features on this. Going to see what I can do with regards to running it through my CarPC and engaging launch control, 2 step and stuff like that Some more Defi Gauges, still waiting on one more as it appears to have gone walkies in the postal network Greddy Intercooler and some 3" pipework to go with. Will be going black silicone all through out if I can manage Oil sandwich plate and OEM 6spd knob to replace my cheap one Also some gaiters to spruce up the interior. Hoping to get the gear knob and maybe even my steering wheel done to the same effect And because I'm a bit of a tech geek I couldn't resist picking this up for some good footage at shows etc Finally, Metalmonkey have been at work designing me some gauges to match the style of my Defis. Hecklers PCB dash has also been installed so should match up nicely Pay day is a few weeks away so will be looking to pick up the Whifbitz NA-T kit soon and complete the puzzle! Gonna put the car through an MOT before I carry out the work as it is due next month. Not sure what will happen with regards to emissions etc so MOT it now and worry about that in a years time - - - Updated - - - Cool project, matey. Watching to see how she turns out... Looking forward to some boost now Bear, just hope I don't get the power bug!
Style
Added another few bits to the build which will be getting under way in the next few weeks after the MOT. Picked up an AEM Boost Control Solenoid so I can have a few maps of variable boost. Since I still have the Active Spoiler switch I'm thinking about sanding that down and getting 'Hi' and 'Lo' put on the buttons and 'Boost' where it says 'Spoiler' next to the little light. I can then wire that into the ECU which will give me a high and low boost setting. High boost will bring on the little light one the switch, that's my thinking anyway. Just need to get the pin outs from the switch and see if I can make it happen http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=189057&stc=1&d=1406639632 Also picked up an FPR from Dazzi and a Fuel Pressure Gauge from Glanza_Mike. Ordered the gauge sensor from the states which will just plumb into the FPR I reckon. It has a little gauge on it so will just remove that and use the Defi one instead. Pics will follow when the parts arrive. Speaking of gauges, I'm currently looking into mounting my gauges on the a-pillar. Since I now have 3 I'm gonna try and go down the same route as Andrew K, love the way his looks. I had ordered a 2 gauge pod off eBay but the guy has mucked me about and I reckon I've been mugged of 50 bucks. But you live and learn I guess. Should have everything to do the new idea so won't cost me at least
Style
Car goes in for it's MOT tomorrow, needed a new tyre so a new Potenza will go on before they test it. Provided the car passes, I'll just be leaving it there to get the conversion done! I'm going on holiday on Tuesday so will hopefully pick it up again the following week. All Defi's are wired in for power, just need the sensors run. AFR still needs power and wiring too but since it's going to the AEM ECU I'll leave the splicing to the garage. PS. Looks like I better dim the actual dash lights from that pic http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=189500&stc=1&d=1407506337
Style
MOT passed and all parts have been dropped off. Will pick it up when I return with hopefully a doubled power figure! Vids and pics when I pick it up....all going well. Will see if 3" pipework does actually pass the oil feed on the turbo
