Chris88
I have a set of 19" Mille Miglia Evo split rims which were bought from photos knowing that they needed a refurb. All of the rims are in pretty good condition (good enough to run-out the tyres that came with them before the refurb) but they have what I think may be a bigger problem. Both rear rims are fine and are spigotted to the same diameter (about 65mm IIRC) but the front rims have the issue. One front rim is spigotted 72mm but not a huge problem as I can always get a special set of spigot rings made. However the other front rim is "spigotted" about 120mm diameter which runs past the bolt PCD and has broken through (you can just see a pin-prick) between the spokes. Maybe someone was trying to increase the offset. Unfortunately the photos used in the purchase failed to show this issue. Does anyone know of a refurb shop that can weld up and re-machine this single rim or are the only alternatives to find another rim / scrap the whole set? As soon as I get in the same place as the rims (about 6000 miles apart at the moment ).
