Hi can anyone help I've got an R reg mk4 Toyota Supra I lost my ignition key so to move it I un screwed the plastics removed the ignition barrel fitted a second hand 1 but now it won't start was my key chipped to the ecu thanks

I doubt any one will help with this one. Seems a bit dodgy the first post being a question about how to start a supra with no key.

 

:yeahthat: Something very strange about this and I'd suggest members don't answer this question - especially on a public forum.

And to finish thread off.

 

Tow car along with proof of ownership etc & ID to an alarm specialist to resolve. EDIT: Also check with your insurer as you may have lost key cover.

I'm no superhero, but my senses were tingling on this one too....

 

...although it may have something to do with the minty shower gel I've just used

I understand the people thinking it was strange no key and none starter. I've dropped car off to a local electrician, just thought there might of been an issue with key and ecu. I'm not in Wales i'm in Birmingham

Yeah my ip locator was playing up. However, on trying another (another mod confirmed too) found your IP address to be located in London :search:

Apparently I blew relay on fuel pump. Next problem I've brought a lsd unit but it's for the big diff. If I find a big diff will it fit straight under my back end or are the shafts different lengths

I'll put on Ebay and get a small casing diff thanks. the lsd thing I've brought has 2 more bolt holes were the crown wheel bolts
