Dear All,

8 years ago, I bought a V160 GETRAG from a Supra mkIV, in Germany.

The gearbox was opened but it seemed that all the parts were in.

I wanted to install the gearbox in an 1969 OPEL GT with a Calibra Turbo

engine.

I asked a friend to repair the gearbox, but we need the workshop manual,

or some drawings with the parts numbers.

I tried to contact GETRAG, but they don't want to speak directely with the

customers.

I tried to contact several TOYOTA dealers, but they ask me a VIN (vehicle

indentificatio number)... I CAN NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM BY MYSELF.

Please Help me.......

Do you have a solution form me?

Do you have a workshop manual?

Do you have a VIN from a Supra mkIV ( 6 speeds)to order the parts I need

from TOYOTA?

Thank you very much

In the Supra service manual there is a section which covers the strip down and rebuild process of the v160. However this section in not included in the club downloads files. I have a hard copy of the manual but not an online one, I'm sure someone here will be able to post a link to one.

Luc,

it is a very difficult projet because the motor goes under the dashboard.

There are a lot of modifications to do.

Engine: Opel Turbo C20LET 320 hp

GearBox: V160

Rear Axle: from ROVER SD1 (stronger)

Power steering

4 disk brakes

Targa Kit

Alcantara and leather

dashboard in luxury wood.

I shall put some pics as soon as possible
