JamieP
Not sure why the other thread was closed. But what do you think of these? Carbon back are £1500 a pair delivered. Kevlar back are £1820 a pair delivered.
jimojameso
Nice looking seats! Never sat in any though. I had bride euro 2's in my supra and they were very comfy.
j_jza80
I'd take those Veilsides over the Bride Gias seats, the Veilsides look to have plenty of cushioning. This is in a similar price bracket to the Recaro Sportster CS though, which would be my choice (Vauxhall, Posche, Audi, Mini, Ford and Renault fit the Sportster to their cars, which says a lot) The Sparco R700 looks nice too. Tsia
Possibly because it was advertising fakes? Not sure. Shame they wouldn't let you view them as that casts a huge amount of doubt in my mind. Never mind those, then Since having a Recaro Speed seat in my previous Supra, I've longed for a set of those again

Stevo
If I had the money, I'd be going for these Cobras but in a different finish. http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/cobra-misano-anniversary-sport-seat/prod_883.html
Guest Nicholas
They look dated IMO, I love the Bride Stradia 2 Japan Venus seats at the moment
Stevo
Actually meant these Milanos - lux edition as they have an alcantara option... http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/cobra-misano-lux-sport-seat/prod_544.html
JamieP
I've never liked the Cobras. I know what you mean about them looking dated Nicholas, but that was part of the charm for me, I liked the retro look. I've just seen some nice evo 9 seats in black with red stitching, I think I'm going to buy them.
Scott
Need to be narrow in the arse for most of those seats. I'd love to have kept my Recaros but they're just not comfortable.
JamieP
I just bought these, I had them in my evo 9 and loved them back then so thought they would be a safe bet. http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk/part_details.asp?ID=100878298

This is true Jamie, if you're going to keep the bone stock look with your new supra they would certainly fit. I guess it comes down to personal preference. They are similarly priced to Recaro Sportster CS's though and they are super comfy see here: - http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/recaro-sportster-cs-sport-seat/prod_585.html Alternatively you could go ultra retro 90's and get the TRD seats? Takata also now make seats see below: - TRD seats link: - http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=1683 Takata Seats: - http://www.takataracing.com/products#seats

I fancy a set of red Recaros out of the EK9 Civic Type R or DC2 Integra for mine when funds allow.
Tommyd16
What's the best/easiest way to fit aftermarket seats? Can you buy specific runners?
JamieP
Easiest is to buy runners, whifbitz sell them. I want mine as low to the floor as possible so will be custom mounting the drivers seat.

Same here! Your slightly taller than me and it's horrible being too high! Johns seat mounts will have you nice and low. Like the seats you went for! The recaro speeds I don't like at all. I may be the only one but they do zero for me.

Those Veilside seats look almost a comfy as Jamesy's Brides... that reminds me, wonder if he's got himself a bigger cushion for Dragonball this year.
