Best exhaust setup for BPU

Im wanting a LOUD system for my bpu set up, and I just have a question about the diameter of the piping.

 

If I get 3" 1st and 2nd decats, do these bolt onto the turbos right away? If I got 2.5", how is the piping reduced?

 

I need to get a 1 or 1.2 bar restrictor ring, is this before the 1st decat?

In answer to the first question:

 

The first decat bolts to the downpipe, not the turbos.

So long as you get a Supra specific first decat, you'll be fine, regardless of pipe diameter. I can recommend Whifbitz for decats.

Be aware, UK spec and J Spec have different size flanges.

 

Second question:

Location of the RR isn't of great importance really. Most put it either after the first decat, or before the second.

2.5" or 3" they both have the same shape/size flanges so exactly the same fit.

 

The restrictor ring can be fitted between the 2 decat pipes or between the 2nd decat pipe and exhaust, again same size/shape flanges so doesn't really matter.

I am pretty sure that ebay link just removes the second decat only.

That's just a second decat pipe. Personally, as I previously stated, I'd go with someone like Whifbitz, as their parts are great quality. Most of my parts come from them, and I haven't been able to fault them yet.

Ok, I know visually what the setup looks like now, I would still need the shorter 1st decat.

 

Listy, I already have a whifbitz SMIC on the way from them, because of what I have heard about quality :)
