Help supra not starting after being out

Hey we are having a problem getting the supra to start after we had the engine out to fit the whifbits turbo conversion. The car is a 94 jap NA. It ran perfectly before pulling the engine out. The car lay with no battery in it for a few weeks. The car has spark, fuel pump is priming and there is power going to the injectors however the injectors are not firing. The car had a cheap aftermarket alarm on it that we pulled out hoping that would sort it however it didnt. We think the car may be immobalized however i only have a normal key for it. Does anyone have any ideas what may be the problem?

Have you checked the fault codes ? That should give you an idea what the problem is.

Most immobilisers interrupt the Starter Motor solenoid and/or the ignition and/or the Fuel Pump (mine does all 3) . . . but if you have checked that those are all working, I presume that's not your problem.

It has now started. Checked all the connnections and earths. All seemed ok. Still wouldnt start so decided to just hold it turning over till it either started or the battery died lol. It finally started. It is however a little slow to start. Any one any ideas why?

Probably the easiest step to take is to put a multimeter on the battery terminal s to see volt drop. Battery voltage should around 10v and above when cranking the engine. This is to check the starter motor isnt drawing too much due to high resistance. ..
