Scott
I wanted to check for leaks etc so I connected my B+ to the FP and turned on the ignition. Pressure went up to just over 5 bar which I understand is way too high. Would this be considered a good leak test? It was pissing fuel at the regulator before I realised I hadn't tightened it Now that I've checked everything over and made sure everything is tight, it's holding fast at just over 5bar and there isn't a noise to be heard. Next, I'm guessing 36psi is the standard figure even for a single turbo, until the mapper gets his hands on it anyway. So I guess I can drop the pressure down to just over 2 bar and leave it set there to limp down for mapping? Thanks
David P
If it doesn't leak at 75 psi it's unlikely to leak at less. I thought stock fuel pressure was 43.5 psi?
