bonus_2000
Does anyone know how often the o2 sensor for this gauge should be changed if at all?
Tricky-Ricky
When it starts being inaccurate.
bonus_2000
Trouble is, if it is inaccurate, how can I tell?
Tricky-Ricky
Surely you know how its been responding while you have been driving, has it suddenly started reading very differently? if it fails it will just show rich all the time.
bonus_2000
This is the only reason I was questioning it really, seems to read fine with a bit of throttle, but recently on idle it has been reading lean, where as before it always read almost bang on 14.7 which has me a bit worried, so haven't really been using the car. As I have an AEM ECU, it only takes it's AFRs from the UEGO, so this is what had me wondering about the possibility of the sensor being faulty. You are probably right though, probably nothing wrong with it, but can't really work out any other reason in this change, as the map is exactly the same as when Ryan did it. One of my other mates suggested I might have a vacuum leak maybe, I will check this out before doing anything else...
mellonman
Hi mate , just for your peace of mind you can easy test the sensors
Tricky-Ricky
Why is it done with brake cleaner? I'm curious why this would work when the calibration is set for petrol, as different fuels require different settings.
bonus_2000
Might be worth a shot when I get 5 maybe, thanks mate.

Not sure but there are a few vids on youtube showing the same way , but I expect petrol will work just the same
