sideexitsupra
Iirc SteveL did the same thing on his race car and it was a pig to start. Someone may be along shortly to correct me though.
jonny mac
if you delete the idle control valve on the stock ecu, it will struggle to start/won't idle and constantly cut out if you run an aftermarket ecu which you say you are, that will take it's reading/control somewhere else as I know that with the haltech's you don't need the IACV and they get removed/blocked I was going to remove the coolant lines from mine and bypass them to clean it up a little and get rid of more unnecessary pipework
Lee P
Personally I would leave it on as the syvecs can control it fine and it does make it easier for cold start and idling We used to remove them on the early AEM as they used to jam You can remove it if you want and raise the idle to compensate but its not ideal. johnd-mkiv
Ok cheers will leave it on, can't be dealing with starting issues
David P
You could remove the hot water plumbing from it. That's not needed and it'll tidy it up.
