Guest badbeaumont
Hi There, I recently changed the spark plugs on my Supra but I hadn't noticed that one of the mangled ignition coil connectors wasn't making a good connection. Anyways I let it idle while running on 5 cylinders for about 4-5 minutes before noticing. I ran a compression test and the numbers are fine and in line with the rest of the cylinders, it runs as good as it ever has. I'm just wondering if I've done any damage or if I should take any other precautions (like changing the oil in case petrol got into the crankcase etc.)? tony tt
My car ran on 5 with a duff coil pack for a few minutes. No issues if it's running sweet now I'd say it will be fine.
