Hi.

Im currently running my tt supra with the basics..decats, exhaust, FMIC and uprated fuel pump...at the moment im not looking to do any more engine mods for the time being so im just wondering what would be the best option for me now to make the most of it...I was thinking about an ecu but havent looked into them much yet and im still in the market for a boost controller... so im just looking for all the options..

Thanks

A high spec electronic boost controller with 'gain' feature - which controls how the wastegate operates - can make a big difference to how quickly the turbos spool up. The highest spec EBC's also allow you to map the boost levels against speed, throttle position, rpm, gear, etc. which also helps with response and maximises boost levels through each gear. Don't bother with a cheap basic EBC it will make b*gger all difference.

If you fitted higher lift, longer duration cams then a piggyback ECU may be worth fitting but it's a lot of money for very moderate gains, perhaps 20-30hp.

If it's not been done for a while giving the car a thorough service would give you the best results for your money.

Thanks for the reply...ye im lookimg at the new greddy boost controller at the moment but going to have a look around...at the moment im happy with the power and im goin to concentrate on suspension etc for a while...I was thinkin an fcon or similar would be adequate for the mods for the time being. I keep the car well serviced with all good stuff

I use the Autronic stand alone in my car for boost control, I am able to hold rock solid boost all the way to the 8700RPM redline. ECU based FTW! As long as your tuner knows how to setup ECU based boost control I don't think there is anything better. http://dailydigitaldeals.info/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/11/20/buy.gif
