Boxertricks
Hi Aristo owner here, maybe considering going for a mkiv in the near future though Thought I'd join up to take a look at some Supra's and read up on some 2jz threads. Cheers

safcdixon
Welcome to the club, whereabouts in northumbria are you? Which mkiv you looking at n/a, TT?
Boxertricks
Northumbria? I'm from the midlands mate My Aristo's a TT so will definitely be a twin turbo. How are they compared to an Aristo, forgetting size, practicality etc? I've tried pm'ing a member on here, but it says I can only contact the moderators? I'm assuming because I'm a new member? safcdixon
Its says northumbria on the location under your name No idea on the aristo difference tbh as far as im aware they share suspension arms/setups etc so id expect they'd be pretty simiular, I'd guess the supra will be alot lighter though
Boxertricks
Been looking at some of the project threads on here and some of them are monsters. Looks like a few Supra owners are going for hybrid twins instead of big singles, definitely something I'll be looking into now.

Steve
You should only be able to PM moderators without a paid membership. Who was the member you PM'd?
Boxertricks
Listy, I deleted the message incase I only had a limit of one pm you see. That's why I thought it was strange that I couldn't send another one lol.

Swampy442
Welcome to the club, you on ClubAristo as well? Compared to an Aristo, depends if you have a Mk1 or Mk2 Aristo, the Supra uses the Aristo chassis so they are pretty similar, Mk2's Im not sure about. Boxertricks
Ayup Swampy, yeah DaveEdge on ClubAristo mate. Didn't realise the Supra used the same chassis as a mk1... With me owning the best model and all that Do you have a Supra aswell then?
Swampy442
Haha hi mate Yeah the Mk1, the Soarer, the Supra, and other models all use a variation of the same chassis. I don't own a Supra, but Im the mechanic for one. I recognise your name from Driftworks, always selling cool wheels lol
Boxertricks
That's handy to know, so a Soarer's another good option then tbh, prefer the looks of a Supra mind. Cheers mate, got an obsession with wheels tbh. Bout time I made up my mind and fitted some nice ones to the Aristo though.
