kitch79
If you lived in California and therefore never needed a roof 99.9% of the time, had tonnes of cash, took it to say, west coast customs... I'm sure hacking the roof off would be fine

Nic
B. It'd be far better to buy an NA Aero top and do a 2JZ-GTE transplant, particularly if it was a late model fitted with the 6spd box.

Hitbox Junkie
It was just an idea for the concept of cutting the roof out and making.it a aero for less than having a aero converted to a manual. And presuming a manual.to a tt aero.conversion is about £5000? Thats sourceing a 6speed and cost for.labour having it fitted and the tunnel re-worked for it.and all the drivechain changed? Or have i seriously underpriced this? :-)

marc_p
Option c Buy an N/A aero and do a tt swap? But then again, the hilarity that option B would bring, I'm starting to think that is the best option
Josh42
Buy an NA Aerotop for circa £3k, TT engine transplant £1500-2000 Manual conversion(5 speed £1000/6 speed £3000) All in worst case your looking at £8k?
