Spike3.0
My sorry project Supra doesn't like starting, it turns over but won't fire. I'm looking for a honest mechanic from around the Chester area if anyone knows of any. My mechanical knowledge is limited, hopefully it's something simple. I had help from a member on here called Russ who managed to get it running, albeit rough as hell. I drove it down the road and back but since then no more luck. Anyone know a Supraman for the job? Tommyd16
Have you tried checking for fault codes?

Tommyd16
Find the diagnostic port in the engine bay and get a short length of wire, some people use a paper clip, and bridge the sockets te1 and e1, then turn the key to position number 2 and count how many times the mil lamp flashes to the right of the steering wheel. All explained here http://mkiv.com/techarticles/engine_codes/obd1_codes.html

SteveC
If you can't get it sorted yourself, then Chris Wilson (who is a member/trader on here) is probably the guy you need. Chris is located around 30 miles from Chester.

Spike3.0
Thanks Steve and Nic, That's great news, I've heard of the good work Chris does, But didn't realise he was so close. My future plans are to fit a 1JZ engine so that will be a huge help.
