buster
This is my new thread to document my progress, from two months ago and for future work on my supra project. My supra started life as a N/A manual w58 When I bought it it had minor front end damage And limited mods (mainly exterior) Here's a picture of the day I got it Not long after i sorted the front end and the supra was back on the road. After this point i Desided to do a N/A-T build, But will not go into great details about the progress untill a few months ago as already covered in page one of this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?283671-Busters-NA-T-build-with-Some-TT-bit So 2 Months back started the new stage from my build. buster
With the pistons not here to be fitted I moved to the auxiliaries. I sent most of them away for bead blasting to give a new looking finish. Engine mounts painted. And a Titan crank pulley to finish it off. buster
Pistons and rods have turned up from callaway motorsport, looking great almost a shame to hide them in the block. Went for some CP pistons and upgraded wrist pins, and BC pro series rods, these should give me a great durability as will be pushed nowhere near there breaking point. buster
Once the subframe were out I dismantled the front and rear. Here's a picture of all the front parts, forgot to take pic of rear but will see when blasted and powder coated. Have started sourcing solid diff and rear subframe mounts. Should help prevent wheel tramp and be more responsive. Found some toms coilovers should be a stock feel with adjustable Hight.
