Tommyd16
My misses just txt me saying her dad kicking off because the supra has left oil patches on the block paving lol just went out to have a look and sure enough seems to be a slight leak. Seems to around the passenger (left side) engine mount area. Any ideas before I get it jacked up tomorow - weather dependant
reeceu
thats near where your oil filter is so that would be my first check, make sure its secure and tight!
Dnk
My guess is engine oil
Tommyd16
Is the engine oil level sensor round there aswell?
Tommyd16
Just went and had another look. Seems to be forward of the engine mount, behind the ps pump on the block. That what seems to be the most moist. The oil filter is ok

SPG
Is the fluid red in colour?
TT Paul
Is the fluid red in colour? red PAS fluid,
Tommyd16
Hard to tell the colour on the block as it so dirty and too dark to see on the ground. I'll get it on jacks tomorow if I can
Scooter
That area is where the oil pressure sensor is, be careful as it can get worse and it will leak noticebly when running. fairly easy to replace once you have removed the aircon pump out of the way. Tommyd16
So possibly the seal on the oil pressure switch had gone?
Scooter
The plastic part of the switch itself fails, but I think the sensor is quite cheap £10-15? It's jut tricky to get to...

Tommyd16
It's coming from the oil filter housing from the top somewhere. Is there two Allen big all bolts blanking something off I've just read? Could it be leaking from there?
trebor69
They are there for an oil cooler (feed and return pipes), mine too was leaking from the oil filter housing to block .....there is an O ring in there like with the oil filter that can perish ....I also took those Allen bolts out and put some threadlock on them just to be sure....all is fine now. Tommyd16
I couldn't get to them to take them out so I just got some instant gasket all over the top. Think its ok now
