Si_s Supe
I've had a few people here interested in seeing the end result of a complete overhaul of my Jspec brakes. Long story short, my NSF caliper seized which prompted me to inspect all four which became a massive can of worms! All were screwed, the discs were past their best and the hoses were showing signs of age! I'm really busy with work and currently buying my first house so not really had the time to be stripping / rebuilding / painting calipers, so I had a look around and decided to send them off to the Brake Caliper Specialists. ( http://www.brake-caliper-painting.com ) Turnaround lime was extended due to them also having a high workload. Ended up at 7 working days. In the meantime, I ordered new discs / pads / braided brake lines all round as well as new high temp Supra brake decals. Calipers arrived back on Friday and they went back on over the weekend. Car feels transformed!! So happy. Before: These pads came out of the same rear caliper! After: Service from the Brake Caliper Specialist was impeccable. Highly recommended. My only gripe is that I was told the calipers would be blasted prior to painting, but I'm sure mine weren't as you can see the old Supra vinyls under the paint. That said, the paint finish is great and now there's new vinyls and the brakes are fitted, you'd never know. I will be taking it up with them tomorrow though! kitch79
Looking good I thought the original supra decal was on a raised 'supra' part of the cast? Looks raised on mine. Never looked that close at mine to be 100% tho i must admit. I want mine red! And then some red n black recaros out of a civic type r
Si_s Supe
These are Jspecs. AFAIK, the don't have Supra embossed. They're just plain, a previous owner had added them. I'd certainly be interested to know for sure though before I complain!! Haha.

kitch79
No it's just graphics on the larger calipers. Hmm. Once I finish my stupid 25 days of 13 hour shifts and I can be home in the day light again... I'll have to check mine out then ha. Cheers. Si_s Supe
How much did they charge for this service!? They look miles better! All in, I paid £285. That was a full re-manufacture of all four calipers incl. carriers. (My pistons were fine though) Also incl. paint in an aircraft grade product (halfway between their 'Basic' finish and 'High End')
