Guest trackday addict
Really don't know what's happening with jap car values at the mo Skylines are the same at the mo - going for stupid money Still it's an extra incentive to keep the car & not sell it or even better buy another one & convert it to track only Main issue though whilst values are low low is that we will see a lot more chavs joining in & ragging the arse of the cars & driving like tossers (ooh look at me doing my huge burnout in Mcdonalds carpark at 1pm lunchtime scenario)giving us all a bad name etc.
Bobbeh
Someone sold a 95 JDM 6-speed for 6-7k with ~50k miles, that was a bargain, should have snapped it up myself!

gregsupra4
People, Prices for Jap cars have gone up and down like a mad womens knickers for years and that will never change however it is very rare that you are able to buy one at such a low price and not have to spend 3/4 grand on it within a few months. People who want to buy a Supra will always pay the right price and not be blinded by bling but will value more how the car has been looked after and serviced and if the mods done are the right mods and who done them. Now I may be talking complete bollocks but I for one being a sprightly 45 year old have bought enough cars over the years to know that cheap normaly means "it's got to go before the big bill hits" Yes I admit I have bought what seemed like a good car at the top price and got stiched up but there again I have also bought some cheap ones and had good value. So really the old saying BUYER BEWARE holds fast check everything including his dog before parting with the hard worked for cash.
kghelmet
i always say a car is for sale for a reason you just hope to find the reason before you hand over the cash.
MichaelG
Hmmmmm its for sale at MV Sports......also known as MV Turbos.......i dont know about their sales side, but they did a top end rebuild on an Escort Cosworth i bought a few years back......and the owner who bought it from the guy who had the rebuild done, had to get it re-done as it was rather poorly done job. Not too hot in the service side i am told, but they may be a lot better now as that was a fair few years ago.........thats mega cheap tho. Gazboy
You get what you pay for, and no-one gives money away.
TRD3000GT
Its BS... The car is a 99 Hence it cant pass the ESVA under the new rules and its worthless... Dont worry people, this guy has just screwed himsef and is trying to lay the car and the problem off cheap...
MKIVDreamer
Not sure I agree about that. He says its on an L plate - so 93/94 imported into the UK in 1999. But I second what Greg says: BUYER BEWARE - you get what you pay for.
Guest disrupta
I went to see this today and test drove it, the car seems sweet enough, the old owner was a squadie and couldt aford to run the car so he part exchanged it to the garage in question, the owner of the garage knows the car is up for a cheap price, as he mentioned it a few times today, he actually seemed rarther pissed of, as he claims he didnt know about imports and they dont deal in them, anyway i paid a deposit on this and pick it up on wedensday it will be my first twin turbo supra, cant wait.
