Richie_k83
Hey guys, Can anyone recommend a decent insurance company? Looking to get my first JZA80 but was quoted nearly 3k on a 93 plate Auto!!! I have 9 years driving experience, 5 years no claims and am 28 in May The price has knocked me, any suggestions?
listy
If you have a look around, there is a specific area reference insurance. Sky is the club insurer. Lwib, cci, and admiral are the others I see getting mentioned the most.
abtin90
I've used sky insurance for both my cars and they've always given me the best quote.
jim
Stick your details into confused.com or similar to see who's offering what and for how much Don't put your real mobile number in tho, you'll get tortured!
Josh
I was with Admiral for 2 years, and this year I'm with Sky. I'm 25 with 7 years NCB with agreed value, all mods declared and paying £500 for it. That is on a UK Spec though, and they are cheaper to insure

Agree, but only if it is a stock car. Doing some recon as I thinking on another Supra I got quoted £202 fully comp for an NA. Just to get a quote I declared it was a Jap import and worth 4.5k and stock. 36 with no NCB as I have been a named driver for years so lost my full NCB Also agree never put your real number in, I learned the hard way. 07000000000 works a treat

I have declared the coilovers and alloys tho, car's stock otherwise.

ScottC
I pay £300 through Graham Sykes for a NA-TT BPU
Mk4Gaz
Ive just arranged my new policy with sky - after Adrian Flux sent me a horrendous renewal quote. I've dealt with sky in the past, and they've always seemed to be very good. I'm 33, 12 years ncb, all mods declared - even down to the UK spec brakes, 4k miles, agreed value of £6k on a tt auto, and I'm paying £530 for fully comp with a £350 excess. Flux naturally tried to beat it, after quoting me £1100 in my renewal lol! They did beat sky, but only by a margin, but I still cancelled with them for trying it on in the first place! Why does insurance have to be such a game?
