Kendo11
Noob question regarding my NA for you this evening. Do all NAs come with an idle control valve (ICV)?? I have recently replaced my throttle body, the one I took off didn't have one and the one I have fitted doesn't have one either. As per this old for sale thread; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?259550-Idle-control-valve-(ICV)&highlight=idle+valve I actually only have the stepper motor fitted straight into the throttle body. Is this correct or am I missing something? 94 NA pre facelift. Cheers.
buster
This is correct the pic in the thread is a turbo Icv The NA Icv is as you say a stepper motor, It works with the throttle body casting to control the idle
Kendo11
Can/should the stepper motor be taken to bits in order to clean or is that unnecessary?
Swampy442
It can be, not too hard a job.
