mike33
Hi guys i bought some uk headlamps. I haven`t driven my supra in he dark since i put these in, I have noticed that when on in the dark they are shinning more into the hedge than the road. I did a search on here and it says about two long screws you moveI found them but my question is does this move dip and main beam??
Why T
One screw will me main one will be dip. I think they are supposed to angle more to the side of the raod as not to stun or shine into oncomming traffic.
jamesmark
Take it to someone that does MOT testing and ask them to line them up. Or up against a garage door and hope you get angles right. If you do attempt it yourself, you will find that for each turn on the screws the movement is minimal. So be prepared to be adjusting them for a good few minutes. mattdavies
To adjust the beam it's not the two long ones I believe it's the little plastic one a bit further into the center of the light
Dnk
Go to an mot station so they can line them up properly for you
mike33
The garage I went to when they did the MOT struggled to get my lights to change at the time they didn't know which long screw did what. I thought I would give it a go against my garage door. The car goes in for its annual MOT next month!

Wow, that would worry me. I am no DIY mechanic but even I can work out, turn one at a time noting the number of turns I give it incase I need to reset it if I turned the wrong one. Graham1984
Iirc dipped and main beam alignment done through the same setting so all you need to worry about is left/right and up and down, the other pin does the fog light.
