Al Massey
I think I have a problem with my alarm and immobiliser. Fuel pump won't turn on I've only got 10% battery left and can't go searching So I'm trying to fix the problem. I need the location of the fuel pump fuse and if that is ok, is there a way to test the fuel pump? Cheers guys
Guest Budz86
"You can test the fuelpump by bridging +B and FP in the diagnostics port in the engine bay. Just use a bit of wire or a paperclip. It'll run the fuelpump off the battery and you'll hear the (surprisingly loud) rushing of fuel through the system. If that works, try starting the car with the pump already running in this fashion." I stole Ian C's post!

Cheers bud That worked, managed to trace the fault to one of the fuses for the alarm and immobiliser Swapped it over now all working fine Cheers

Al Massey
No problem mate, glad it was a quick fix The fuse for the alarm wasn't, was there for an hour trying to find out what was up. But as soon as I new the pump was fine I decided to trace the alarm wires and found a fuse
