Respray

Hi all, finally got round to having my supra resprayed, it was suffering with a rusty front wing, rust around the rear window seals, chipped lacquer faded red paint in some areas and generally looking a bit tired close up.

Spent a day and half removing all the parts bumper, boot, skirts, seals handles etc

Cheers Guys

Very pleased with it, been down this afternoon putting lights mirrors seals and boot struts on, paranoid about scratching it but its gonna happen and did slightly when putting the back lights in.

Should be done for tomorrow.

As for cost I have got a rough idea of around the 2k mark but we kept finding more bits to do, I'll find out when I get the keys back.

  • 3 weeks later...

My re spray cost me £2k a couple of years ago.

Looks really good. Red when brand new, looks stunning.

Did you get the (apparently new thing) UV resistant top coat applied? Not all places do it unless specifically requested apparently.
