Fly
Hi guys, I'm just in the process of trying to find a new oil feed flange as I have stripped the threads off my current one as I over tightened the bolt. The flange that came with my turbo has a built in oil restrictor but I don't know what size it is. Anyone help me out? I know the thread size is -4an but it's the oil restrictor size that I need, it's an xs power t61 turbo. Thanks
Tricky-Ricky
Has your T61 got a BB core? if not then there is no need for a restrictor.
Fly
To be honest I'm really not sure though the kit always comes with a flange with restrictor.
Tricky-Ricky
I thought the XS T61 was a plain bearing turbo, and -4 pipe = 1/4" 6.35mm, so if you want to restrict I wouldn't go any smaller than about 4mm dia, however if its a BB core then I think you will need to check what the makers recommend.
