Neumann
Hello guys and gals. I recently discovered my car is not fitted with a fcd as i thought. All i could find in the ecu area was a speed cut thing. The car is pretty much stock. First cat removed and a cat-back is fitted. Allso a blitz boost controller is installed. Ive been over 1.15 bar on several occations and the fuel cut isnt "kicking in" any idea why that might be? I read the boost by the blitz display if it matters. Exuse my english, its a second language :^) have a good day
listy
I only hit fuel cut in first gear around 6000rpm on a hard launch, foot to the floor. In every other gear, I never used to hit fuel cut. Other than that bit of information, I can't really help.

Scooter
Are you sure your ecu is stock is might be a Mines, Blitz or Sard tweaked one? Er what Nic just said!!!
Tricky-Ricky
Ran 1.4 bar on my TT and never saw fuel cut.
Neumann
Theres no stickers/marks on the ecu, i have even opened it and it looks like no one has tampered with it.. hmm In the description i know i said 1.15 bar+, to be honest i sometimes boost alittle over 1.3 and still no cut! 2soops
Your lucky, mine hits fuel cut with just the 2nd cat removed. Not worried though as I'm going BPU very shortly and have a mines ecu sat here to take care of that
Big Supes
Is your car a UK/US spec?

Big Supes
Ahh, ok... that's my theory out of the window then. I think you're right to flag this though as you could have a faulty sensor. MAP sensor, maybe...

Big Supes
That's the odd thing... there usually would be symptoms. I don't think there's any harm in checking for error codes as the map sensor should be monitoring for over boosting.
Neumann
Ill go check for codes right away Edit: No codes, the engine light just flashed non stop, stoped counting after 100 Edited March 4, 2014 by Neumann (see edit history)
