Dave_harman1990
Hi everyone, my aerotop has a leak which is causing just my drivers seat to get wet right where you sit. No other signs of water anywhere and no signs of water runs. I took the roof off today and discovered this: The otherside was bone dry, and when u look down this is directly above the seat. I took a photo of the front rubber with the roof on which is slightly perished but not majorly My question is what do people think is the problem here? And where is the best place to get the replacement part please? Many thanks in advance! Dave

Dave_harman1990
Is it the front rubber that's causing the leak or is it the plate that bolts the roof to the chassis?
skippyboyo1
Leaky rubbers are bad news
Dave_harman1990
Is it definitely the front rubber thats causing the problem then? If so ill order one straight away
charlton
I've not long bought replacement rubbers from Toyota for the pretty much the whole roof and pillars for the same thing. I thought it best to replace them all while I was at it, think it was about £
Dave_harman1990
Sorry but can anyone tell me which rubber it is thats going to be causing the problem looking at my pics? Am I right in assuming that because of the water being where it is in picture one that its the front rubber causing the problem?
charlton
It think it's called the front roof weatherstrip or something like that, I have the part number and can confirm when I'm back home later in the week from Australia
Dave_harman1990
I've found them on whifbitz. Im assuming with where its leaking the only culprit can be the front rubber. The rest look pretty fresh.
Dave_harman1990
Ok more help please?!?!?
