jsnlvxr
Hi guys. Yesterday I fitted my new wheels amd coilovers. Its onlu about 20mm lower than standard. The wheels are 8j et25 18" but they scrub quite bad on the inner wing plastic guard. Can this be removed? What do people normally do about this? Thanks

jsnlvxr
Its right on the engine side of the arch if that makes sense
Dnk
Are the arch liners fitted properly with all their fixing screws ?
jsnlvxr
Yws mate there all bolted in correctly. Seems strange that im getting this problem. Its not like its really low and with the lower et I would have thought it would give more clearance
Dnk
Do the tyres catch on both sides ?
jsnlvxr
It sounds like it. But not the metal arches.
Dnk
When do they catch ? in a straight line or on full lock, what size tyres do you have fitted, width & profile ?
jsnlvxr
They scrub on full lock. There 235 35
Dnk
Well the tyres are okay size wise, don't go to full lock is my best advice, i wouldn't remove the arch liners as they do protect the wing a lot from stones etc getting picked up by the tyres. jsnlvxr
Yeah ive been trying to avoid too much lock. Doesnt seem to take much though.would spacers give it more room?
Dnk
Post a photo of the front wheels if you can, set them straight first and show the wings so we can see where your wheels are sitting in relation to the wings
