JayJay1374
Thanks mate. They should do anyway! Had a few problems tonight removing the passenger side skirt. The two bottom wing bolts snapped upon removal. Looks like I will be drilling them out this weekend. Also got another coat of paint on the wheels. JayJay1374
Spent abit of time on the supra this weekend. A while ago I bought a new 25 row mocal oil cooler from Robby a. So after getting some new oil lines made from hodge I got it fitted this weekend. Only snag was my greddy oil temp sensor wiring snapped on the sensor itself. So now waiting for one to arrive from rhdjapan.
JayJay1374
So earlier in the week a large package turned with a small sensor inside. Rhdjapan where great throughout and the Japanese tracking website gave perfect updates. So after the sensor turned up I ran the car up to temperature to make sure there was no leaks from the oil cooler. Which there wasn't. So this weekend I rebuilt the front end. I even cleaned up my intercooler. Also fitted a cheeky speedhunters sticker I also eventually made a replacement intake pipe to replace my old HKS RS. Fits perfectly. A few cheeky engine bay pics
ripped_fear
Looking great mate. Real stunner What induction kit do you have fitted?
JayJay1374
Thanks mate. I already had a blitz filter on the stock intake. I just bought 2 45degree ally pipes and a 45degree silicone hose and trimmed to size. 76mm iirc. The the straight joiner was just made from the trimmed silicone pipe. All supplied from auto silicone hoses.

JayJay1374
Well yesterday a parcel from the whifbitz Black Friday sale arrived. I've heard before that some peoples Apr cooling panels holes don't line up. Well mine was no exception. I had to file out every hole. But I got it fitted. Looks great. It's just annoying spending over £100 on something that you have to alter yourself.

supra_ufo
looks great Jay, I was eyeing up this but I decided not to get engine stuff. I would be pissed off if I had to modify a brand new item. You might want to tell Paul and get "APR" to sort them out
JayJay1374
So I bought a set of tein HA Coilovers off sheefa on here. When they arrived. They looked decent but flakey paint syndrome had set in. So after abit of time with a drill and a quick sand blast they looked like this All paint and rust removed. And after a lick of Hammerite. I think I'm gonna remove the helper springs to increase adjustability.
ripped_fear
Any updates on this?
JayJay1374
A few little updates. Firstly before Christmas my dad bought himself a super clean N/A auto. Not really too sure what the plan is. Possibly a TT swap. Around Christmas I started prepping my car for some paintwork, starting with an arch roll. So the plan for paint. Oem plastic skirts to be painted, Door shuts and sills, rear quarters and arches. The inside of the arches will be painted and stonechipped. I really just wanted to sort a few little niggles. I had to take the car up and down the unit road a few times to get some charge back in the battery and to give it a run out. Driving on space savers is fun! And to do a proper door shut job.... The car is ready to go to paint. And it's going tomorrow or Monday. Me and my dad have also committed to a track day in March with the mx5, which needs a rear quarter welding in. So if the supra's ready in time I might take that on the track too!
MattP
Were you seeing high engine oil temperatures without the oil cooler?
JayJay1374
I was seeing 100c at 70 on the motor way and 110+ after a blast. I haven't seen the difference yet as it hasn't been out.
MattP
I get that it will work in the location you have put it but would it have been better placed in the passenger/driver pod as they are empty on yours. Just out of curiosity not being sarcastic...
MattP
Actually that looks too wide Nvm...

I know I am in a very lucky position at the minute. Both me and my dad are very into cars, but when I bought the supra he got a lot into working on them. We are currently looking for a second ramp too.
Kendo11
JayJay are those Tiens the ones currently for sale on fb? Anything wrong with them?
JayJay1374
They are mate. I haven't had a chance to list them on here. Nothing wrong I could just use the money for my paint. My cars already on tein springs and dampers so it's not desperate to be lowered more.
